Description
Reporting to the Regional Director based in Hong Kong, the role is responsible for:
Knowledge Strategy
Work with the Knowledge Partner(s), Regional Director of Knowledge Management, the other Professional Support Lawyers to assess the knowledge needs of the Group and for the coordination of cross-Practice efforts that relate to Finance
Define and implement a plan to meet those needs that is aligned with the business goals of the Group, and mechanisms for regular review of the plan
Driving innovative strategies for the group
Proactively seek ways to improve service and efficiency and contribute to best practices
Organisation & Sharing knowledge content
Work with Group members, and others, to create and capture Finance -related knowledge content and encourage the sharing of information and knowledge generally, and to coordinate with other Practices to encourage and implement consistency across Practices in relation to Finance issues and policies
Create & Manage electronic collection of practice-related knowledge resources
Thought Leadership
Spearheading updates on important developments in the legal scene or general business environment
Implementing process to heighten the firms awareness of practice-related happenings utilising both internal & external resources
Be a source of legal, market and practical expertise for all members of the Group, including the provision of direct support for client matters
Play a role in building lasting relationships through collaboration and be the lead advocate for knowledge function
Cross-functional collaboration
Work with Marketing teams to establish processes that best capture categorisations on matter systems and setting up of processes for documentation
Work with group to establish processes capturing specific knowledge & experience relevant to the group\'s business in the firms CRM systems
Profile
Singapore Qualified
Minimum 12 years PQE, ideally with exposure to Banking &Finance Practice
Strong drafting skills
Pragmatic, Collaborative, able to handle autonomy and a Self-Starter
Prior Knowledge Management/Professional Support experience would be strongly preferred / Senior Associates within Banking & Finance practice with relevant PQE will also be considered
