DHL Express Global IT has an opening for Program Director - Resilience. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can lead, structure, and facilitate program execution to ensure delivery of an enhanced Resiliency Solution, globally. You will lead global virtual teams of business and IT professionals to deliver a comprehensive resiliency solution comprising IT systems and business processes.

The location for the role will be either in Singapore or in Bonn.

Role Purpose

This is a senior professional leadership role that requires a strong ability to identify required capabilities & dependencies and facilitate program execution to ensure delivery of the global Resiliency Solution.

  • Lead a comprehensive program aimed at the implementation of a target solution for organizational resilience against IT/cyber disruptions.
  • Lead global business & IT teams to ensure that the program is managed and delivered to the agreed scope, time, cost, quality, and governance.
  • Working with Global Express senior management, drive several parallel global program workstreams across multiple business functions and IT domains for the benefit of the business.
  • Ensure solution compliance to Express requirements, propose specifications of appropriate changes, and assess the impact of change on the current business and IT environment.
  • Ensure solution compliance to DPDHL Group Standards and identify synergy potentials.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
  • Accountable for the roadmap of the global program appropriate to business requirements and timely development and deployment of the Resiliency Solution.
  • Provide structure and direction to complex situations/problems to ensure an aligned standardized way forward across the program.
  • Lead the global business & IT teams to ensure the development and deployment of the resiliency Solution in a harmonized way, with best practice sharing, minimal effort, and optimal budget utilization.
  • Responsible for ensuring the teams manage and analyze the impact of change on business processes and standards.
  • Develop and manage program budgets and ensure optimal budget unitization.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the business & IT senior management.
  • Ensure coordination with IT Services and DHL Corporate teams to ensure alignment of the program with the Group standards and overall strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and ensure that solutions are developed to DHL\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
Do you have what it takes?
  • At least 10 years of multi-disciplined experience, including at least 5 years of program and project management experience in a multi-national / global environment.
  • University Degree in Information Technology/ Business Administration or equivalent. IT solutions development and implementation experience \xe2\x80\x93 proven track record for project managing and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Ability to identify and overcome the dependencies and complexities involved in changing business processes and implementing new capabilities within a global networked business.
  • Knowledge of Business continuity management and business recovery principles.
  • Leadership capability supported by a broad analytical and technical background.
  • Relationship management and cultural awareness: negotiating and influencing in different cultures, building strong relationships.
  • Risk management and budget management skills.
  • Strong command of English.
