Role Responsibilities

• The Program Director (PD) will be the leader from Cognizant for the Regional Delivery Centre Services (RDC) and lead the team.
• The PD will oversee all the three tracks of Business Case Realisation, Transition and Target Operating Model Setup - and drive coordination amongst them
• About 60% of the time of the PD should be spend with Client Leaders including CXOs reporting on progress, success stories and alerting on risk and activating mitigation plan
• About 40% of the time - PD to spend with Cognizant delivery leads - and steer them to RDC Goals.
• The PD will work with other directors to track issues, risks close and plan for mitigation.
• The PD needs to own and operationalize best in class reporting for Client Leadership team

Experience & Skills

• 15+ years of experience in program management
• Experience in the Insurance industry is a must
• Proven experience as program director or other managerial position of similar experience - setting up of a large IT department for an insurance company, managing large IT outsourcing relationship with third party vendors, setting up of captive or in-house delivery centers of insurance companies.
• Proven track record of success of large / complex IT program, IT sourcing program.
• Excellent knowledge of evaluation techniques, commercial constructs of IT costs, and key metrics
• Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
• Outstanding exec. Communication skill - oral and written.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
