The candidate is to support cradle-to-grave capital projects within the Pharmaceutical Industry (Biologics and Cell Therapy). Typical projects include aseptic fill/finish/packaging, bioprocessing, facilities/utilities, Cleanroom, VHP and automation integration. Persons are experienced Project Managers that have specific experience in an FDA regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
Determines/Develops project specifications by studying product design, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
Provides timely engineering solutions to problems associated with project assignments
Assist with Technical evaluations/project task on capital projects from the concept CAR funding stages through procurement, installation, start-up and commissioning
Develops or assists with the development of project schedules by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions
Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintains project records and documentation such as meeting minutes, specifications (URS, FRS, etc.), drawings (P&ID, schematics), change control, Maximo forms/data, etc.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical preferred)
5 – 15 years related work experience
Pharmaceutical experience preferred
Instrumentation & Controls experience a plus
GMP/cGMP knowledge a plus
PMP certification a plus
Self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations with company clients and maintaining a positive attitude towards project challenges.
