Overview / Responsibilities:


  • Wood Singapore is currently recruiting for a Project Process Manager with extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Speciality Chemical industry. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
    • Be responsible to the Project Manager for the execution of all the Process Engineering work required by the Contract.
    • Ensure that Company Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance Procedures in respect of Process Engineering are followed during execution of all contracts.
    • Managing and Leading, supporting and supervising Process team on the assigned scope of work
    • Ensure that the Process Design Basis & Standards are specified for the Project to enable assigned Process Engineers to perform the process design activities.
    • Provide process discipline personnel to deliver work scope in line with client requirements, Company policies and procedures.
    • Support the Manager of Process Engineering on:
    • Assignment of process personnel to the project on a unit basis.
    • The nomination of Lead process engineers
    • Technical review of calculations, specification sheets, flowsheets, etc. for each unit.
    • The design philosophy to be used on each unit based upon guarantees expected or requested by client.
    • Identify all areas where technical assistance maybe required from affiliates or consultants.
    • Review and provide input for project schedule.
    • Perform regular technical assurance audits as required for projects.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including database of lesson learnt
    • Proposal preparation and MH estimation
    • Discipline Manpower planning including recruitment and performance evaluation
    • Identify and pursue innovation opportunities for discipline, including emerging technologies within the discipline area.
Skills / Qualifications:
    • Master Degree, B.E or B.Tech Chemical Eng. or Process Engineering Experience with a different branch specialization with 15 to 20 years of experience in Process design engineering, working at various levels of an engineering project starting from Concept study, Pre FEED, FEED and EPC (Greenfield / Revamp projects)
    • Experience in Refinery, Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Chemical facilities is preferred
    • Balance of technical and management experience having several years of supervisory experience.
    • Expected to have good understanding of human relations, training, performance evaluation, health and safety
    • Having strong problem- solving skills.
    • Strategic thinker, having good communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
    • Capable of representing company and client to business associates in a professional manner.
    • Skilled in Manpower forecast and planning for resources.
    • Skilled in Process engineering calculations and preparation of deliverables
    • Check and approve process deliverables and provide technical guidance to team members as and when required
    • Hands on experience in the use of technical software like, HYSYS, AspenPlus, Flarenet, Pipenet is expected
    • Experienced in developing talent using coaching, mentoring and formal performance processes
