Job Description

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast and track sub-contractors work progress, provide weekly schedules and conduct daily coordination meeting to ensure project timelines are met
• Coordinate with the drafting department with regards to the preparation/ submission/ approval of shop and as-built drawings
• Attend site meetings and inspections, coordinate and liaise with authorities, designer, contractors, client’s representatives and consultants
• Monitor the execution of the works, ensuring the required time, cost, quality elements and smooth handover are achieved
• Ensure health & safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with all applicable & permit standards & requirements.
• Responsible for project budget controls, tracking of expenditures and effectively manage & reduce the costs of delivering projects.
• Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Resolving any technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time from director

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree holder in Project Management/ Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction background.
• Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a “can-do” attitude
• Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes
• Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
• Willing to work on site.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
• Meticulous and responsible.
