Plan, forecast and track sub-contractors work progress, provide weekly schedules and conduct daily coordination meeting to ensure project timelines are met
Coordinate with the drafting department with regards to the preparation/ submission/ approval of shop and as-built drawings
Attend site meetings and inspections, coordinate and liaise with authorities, designer, contractors, client’s representatives and consultants
Monitor the execution of the works, ensuring the required time, cost, quality elements and smooth handover are achieved
Ensure health & safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with all applicable & permit standards & requirements.
Responsible for project budget controls, tracking of expenditures and effectively manage & reduce the costs of delivering projects.
Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Resolving any technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time from director
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree holder in Project Management/ Construction Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction background.
Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a “can-do” attitude
Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes
Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
Willing to work on site.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
Meticulous and responsible.
