DESIGNATION : Project Inclusive Program Intern 2023
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct primary research on suitable broad-based exercises
- Identify and make recommendations for activities/programmes that are suitable for both Daycare Clients and Active Seniors
- Assist in the planning and execution of these activities/programmes
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- May require to perform additional duties as requested
Project Description Development of Broad-based Exercise Programmes for Transitional Eldercare Centres (EC) - Our Transitional ECs are co-located with Daycare centres. This project aims to curate broad-based exercise programs that allow varying fitness levels of our clients from Transitional EC (who are active agers) and Daycare (who tend to be slightly frail/frail) to exercise together. The intern is required to work in NTUC-Health Transitional EC, under the supervision of our senior program associate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiar with Google Workspace
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Preferably students pursuing Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science or Sports & Exercise Programming
