Kongsberg Norcontrol is a daughter company of Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace AS. As part of the Space and Surveillance division we deliver products, systems and services to customers within the space industries and maritime surveillance worldwide. Kongsberg Norcontrol provides maritime surveillance solutions improving safety, efficiency and security of maritime transportation and its infrastructure by ensuring optimal maritime domain awareness. The solutions are in operation with leading maritime coastal organisations, most successful port authorities as well as offshore operators.

In addition to the main office in Norway, Kongsberg Norcontrol has offices in Singapore, India and the UK.

As our Singapore office continues to grow, we are seeking a Project Manager with experience from the maritime segment, preferably within maritime surveillance, vessel traffic management, maritime security and/or offshore energy.

Responsibilities and tasks:
As a project manager, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on projects, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of your team and that the delivery is executed in line with the plan.

You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.
• Organize and plan project tasks and schedules.
• Manage tasks in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and those of the company.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants.
• Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities.
• Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully.
• Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise.
• Optimize project deliverables, schedule, and budgeting.
• Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans.
• Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
• Keep the project team focused on the end goal.

• Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills.
• A bachelor\'s degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields is recommended.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as DACI or similar and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Strong organizational, structural, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Experience with advanced maritime GIS and surveillance solutions.
• Experience with maritime surveillance sensors such as radar, AIS and EO/IR camera solutions and maritime radio systems.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Positive mind-set, reliable and practical.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience from maritime industries.
