Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Able to create the master plan and scheduling for the developments and projects with identification of critical / mandatory activities. Successfully integrate resources, activities and deliverables as outlined in the Project Execution Plan.
- Good command of scheduling software including but not limited to Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Establish system and documentation for company scheduling and planning standards & checklists, etc.
- Responsible for the planning and schedule control of the projects, adding value to the projects by proactive involvement in schedule controls, Extension of Time Claims assessment, the methodologies and etc, lead and facilitate meetings with the Authorities, contractors, vendors, clients, internal staff in the EPC environment to achieve the objectives in the best interest for the project and the Company.
- Responsible to establish the baseline/ project progress monitoring techniques including but not limited to critical path, earned value, productivity / production rate, progress trend, and assessment and responding of EoT Claims.
- Project Scope management: Responsible for the processes and works required to ensure successful project execution, but eliminating waste and non-value add tasks to improve productivity. Standardize and manage the ownership, resources required and the deliverables expected of each activity within the project execution process Set project completion targets and ensure project team meet or clearly report misses and have a catch up plan.
- Ability to identify resource constraints and make the necessary recommendations to support project timelines.
- Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement. Ability to analyze data, derive trends, pareto and actions to close gaps, perform RCA and provide management reporting.
- All activities full compliance to all legal / authority requirements.
- All projects (development and execution) are to be designed, executed and performed to the optimal, safely, within schedule, within budget and meet Sembcorp and industry quality requirement.
- All value engineering and strategic plan developed shall ensure Capex remain competitive, sustainable and meets company business and operational needs.
- All developed and accumulated knowledge / value must be systematically retained within company
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent
- At least 5-10 years of experience in planner career in energy business related engineering management and project management (engineering and construction) environment
- Experience in renewable energy projects is preferred
- Demonstrate critical thinking skill, positive attitude, teamwork, analytical, communication skill, leadership skill
- Strong self-motivation and work ethic, flexible and thrives under pressure
