Summary

The Business Performance Acceleration team is responsible for supporting the sustained growth of the renewables business in the APAC region, through strategic projects that aim at accelerating the business and its scalability, while maximizing operational efficiency.

This role will lead strategic initiatives that can contribute to EDPR APAC business plan targets, both by accelerating growth across different customer segments and product ranges, as well as by leading operational efficiency projects across the whole value chain, that can have a positive impact on business performance and efficiency.

Responsbilities

  • Lead transversal strategic projects with strong impact on business growth
  • Think strategically, to proactively understand business drivers of the renewables business, provide creative solutions to overcome obstacles
  • Be knowledgeable on the main business drivers and business model components, in order to identify and act on main efficiency levers
  • Benchmark main KPIs against other areas of EDP and best-in-class companies
  • Support the development of a Solar go-to-market approach, contribute with innovative ideas for the development and implementation of clear value propositions
  • Measure, analyse and evaluate existing processes, collecting data to identify inefficiency root causes and potential improvement opportunities
  • Quantify financial and operational impact of the initiatives in a clear and measurable way
  • Contribute to mindset transformation and change management across the organisation
Requirements
  • Degree in Management/Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3-8 years of experience, preferably in consulting or business development/strategy in a fast-pacing industry
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, quantify and use information to derive conclusions and recommendations that support decision making
  • High level of self-initiative, proactive attitude and able to thrive in a fast-growing environment
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with ability to apply project management skills to build relationships with business stakeholders
  • Value alignment: stewardship, collaboration, innovation and with a spirit of excellence
