ExxonMobil in Singapore

ExxonMobil is one of Singapore\'s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.

We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas. ExxonMobil provides customers and commercial markets in the region with ground transportation, industrial, aviation and marine fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Job Summary

The candidate will support the P&GA needs for ExxonMobil\'s business and operations in Singapore. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing economic, political and policy trends to anticipate such risks to the business and advise on P&GA strategies aligned with the business/corporation\'s strategic goals. The successful candidate will help lead/support strategies and efforts on external stakeholder management, issues management and help drive and/or support the development of integrated communications strategies and outputs, including social and digital content, publications, speeches, and presentations.

What you will do

• Provide the business strategic advice to identify and capture investment opportunities, while protecting the value of existing assets
• Assist the business in identifying and developing relationships and implementing strategies to advance the company\'s reputation and/or position in a specific issue
• Participate in integrated business and public and government affairs teams to develop and deliver tactical advocacy and communications plans and/or outputs to support business objectives
• Assist the business in developing influencing plans and participating in key events to secure engagement opportunities
• Manage overall company participation in relevant speaking engagements/conferences

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor\'s Degree in communications, public relations, economics, political science or international relations preferred; advanced degree in a related discipline preferred
• Preference for candidates with more than seven years\' relevant experience in areas such as communications, public policy issues management, government relations, community relations or other related areas
• Strong writing skills and experience in developing stakeholder engagement and communications plans, speeches, executive briefing materials
• Problem-solving skills to identify solutions and ability to understand and articulate policy that fit multiple stakeholders with diverse viewpoints
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
• Strong project-management skills, a proactive team-oriented attitude, culturally sensitive and ability to work in a diverse multi-cultural environment and remain flexible when priorities change
