\xe2\x86\x92 European Chemical MNC at Loyang (company transport provided at Tampines MRT)\xe2\x86\x92 Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday\xe2\x86\x92 Basic + Completion bonus\xe2\x86\x92 Contract job (until Dec 2024)Our Client is the world\'s leading chemical company engaging in the development, manufacturing and sale of a wide range of products for agricultural products and nutrition, colorants and finishing products, chemicals, and plastics and fibers for numerous applications in almost all industries.Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end Source to Contract process for direct and indirect materials and services
• Sourcing and perform RFI/P/Q based on inputs from requestors
• Negotiation with vendors to attain right price, right delivery, right place
• Actively engage internal stakeholders (especially supply chain, production, quality management, etc.) and vendors and freight forwarders to facilitate and optimize the purchase, e.g. shortages, minimum order quantity, change of recipe, change in specifications, sample request and qualifications. Our vendor population encompass external parties and Inter-companies.
• Work closely with supply planner on stock requirements and forecast
• Perform vendor qualification for new vendors, including liaising with finance to have new vendor created in SAP
• Ensure all existing vendors follow corporate vendor requirements

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years\' experience in direct procurement, preferably in the chemicals industry or manufacturing environment
• Familiar with planning, order fulfillment, import freight booking & clearance, warehousing and storage
• Knowledge and understanding of Chemicals industry is highly desired
• SAP Materials Management Purchasing module is a must, knowledge of Inventory planning is advantageous but not mandatory
• Good excel skills with know how knowledge in Pivot table, VLOOKUP
