EA No. 17S8892 OUR CLIENT A promising local SME in the precision engineering sector producing Quality Products through Continuous Improvement and Management System by Doing Right the First time and every time. They have diversity of products and services and is rapidly expanding globally with strategic alliances and embarking on next phase of growth. THE POSITION The Purchaser reports to the GENERAL MANAGER to work closely in Suppler Management, Sourcing and ensure Supply Chain is running smoothly to accomplish the purchasing timeline and cost reductions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare purchase order and approved by superior.
• Monitor the delivery schedules from Suppliers to ensure that all parts due arrive on time.
• Liaise with Suppliers for pull-in and push-out of delivery schedules from time to time.
• Ensure that the ETA for all orders are updated timely.
• Ensure that all incoming parts are processed timely.
• Obtain replacement schedules from Suppliers on rejected goods.
• Responsible for the control of relevant controlled documents.
• Assist the General Manager to meet saving targets.
• To perform other tasks as may be assigned from the supervisor or management.

CANDIDATE\xe2\x80\x99S REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification in Supply Chain or Purchasing or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Purchasing/ Sourcing/ Procurement in Precision Engineering industry.
• Ability to resolve despite with Supplier and Vendors on (Price, Quality and Qty). Teamwork across within and across departments.
• Good memories in item purchased and supplier allocation.
• Well organised in Admin work and understand company business in short time.
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Must possess skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Able to correspond in Mandarin and English (both speak and write due to handle Mandarin speaking suppliers).

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $2,500.00 - $3,200.00 per month Benefits:
