Job Responsibilities:

• Order Processing. Working with the sales & customer service & place new orders with various factories.
• Conduct regular price negotiate with factories & suppliers to secure favorable terms & pricing.
• Follow up on all open orders, pull in/push out the deliveries as & when required.
• Liaise with factories/suppliers on products quality issues & short-shipment claims & replacement.
• Propose & plan buffer/safety stocks to meet customers/projects demands.
• Prepare monthly report on inventories movement & ensuring that inventory remains at appropriate levels.
• Analyze sales/purchasing data to provide deeper insight on future market trends & for decision making.
• Identifying areas for process improvement within the procurement function & implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct cost analyses to determine the total cost of ownership & assess cost-saving opportunities.

Job Requirement

• Understanding of procurement processes, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and supplier management.
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics & how external factors can impact the availability and cost of goods and services.
• Ability to build win-win relationships with factories & suppliers while protecting companys interests.
• Proficiency in cost analysis to assess the total cost of ownership, considering not only the initial purchase price but also factors like transportation, storage & insurance.
• Effective communication skills for conveying requirements, negotiating terms & collaborating with both internal & external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify potential risks in the supply chain & develop mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns & opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Must be proficient with Excel Spreadsheet, knowledge of using SAS, SQL or MS Power BI will be an advantage.
