Perform inspections and quality checks on welded metal components and machined parts.
Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds.
Ensure compliance with welding specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain inspection records and documentation.
Monitor and maintain equipment used for inspections.
Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in welding and machining.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Certification as a Welding Inspector is highly desirable.
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles, preferably in the metal or machining industry.
Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
Understanding of NDT methods and inspection tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in the East region of Singapore.
