About the Roles

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Executive to join an organisation within the

building and construction and manufacturing (furniture) sector

. This is a

permanent role

based at

Mandai Estate

, operating on a

5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm)

What You'll Be Doing

Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within approved financial limits. Oversee the full project lifecycle from contract award through completion, including preparation and settlement of final accounts. Develop procurement lists and schedules in accordance with architectural drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Source and liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations, evaluate submissions, and prepare subcontract documentation when required. Track and document defects and variation orders, ensuring accurate records and timely submission of VO costs on a daily or weekly basis. Coordinate closely with the Project Manager on monthly progress claims and final account closures. Review and assess subcontractors' VO claims to ensure compliance with established procedures. Follow up on subcontractor payment certificates and issue payment advice to clients in a timely manner. Manage progress claims, payment processes, variation orders, and overall project close-out activities. Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support project delivery.

What We're Looking For

A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a Quantity Surveyor role. Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, supported by good knowledge of local standards and requirements.
