Role Overview:

Our client is a well-established electrical contractor in Singapore, specializing in electrical installation, maintenance, and project management for commercial, industrial, and residential developments. They are currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on

Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

to oversee on-site electrical works and ensure timely, safe, and quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review

cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ)

, and tender documents for electrical works. Evaluate and analyze

contract terms, variations, and progress claims

. Conduct

cost planning, value engineering, and budget monitoring

throughout project lifecycle. Manage

procurement processes

, including sourcing and evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers. Review and certify

subcontractor claims, variations, and final accounts

. Prepare

progress claims and payment applications

to clients and consultants. Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to

budgetary controls

. Liaise with

project managers, engineers, and clients

to ensure accurate quantity and cost assessments. Maintain proper documentation for all cost and contractual matters. Assist in

contract administration, tender negotiations

, and project cost reporting.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 2 years

of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in

electrical contracting or construction projects

. Strong knowledge of

electrical systems, materials, and installation works

. Familiar with

local tendering procedures, contracts (PSSCOC/SIA), and cost control practices

. Proficient in

MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS-related software

. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
