Roles & Responsibilities Position Summary This position is responsible for driving and delivering the commercial strategy in the MENA & SEA region. The position reports to the International CEO.

  • Lead the mobile apps business in MENA & SEA region and drive the strategic growth agenda.
  • Responsible for all commercial activities in MENA & SEA through Direct and Channel Sales to deliver the Annual Operating Plan & Strategic Operating Plan Revenues and margin.
  • Collaborate with support functions, (Service Management, Customer Service, BU leadership) to develop an effective, valuable commercial approach to enable the business.
  • Handle price and product mix performance: implement corrective actions / growth measures where vital.
  • Maintain and nurture top level customer relationships with a hands-on approach, and act as the resolution point for all customer and system issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Regional and Global teams in developing and implementing a strategy that leads to increased customer value creation and market share gain.
  • Drive collaboration with, other commercial and functional teams in a highly matrixed structure (Sales and Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers, Leadership Team) to translate global strategy into execution across the region.
  • Work with the Divisional/Regional commercial teams to develop the channel and ‘go-to- market strategy’ to improve our commercial reach and effectiveness.
  • Establish and control expense budgets for the commercial operation and be responsible for the success and accountability of the commercial operations planning and forecast function.
  • Actively participate in the preparation and presentation in functional sales meetings, leadership meetings, Monthly Business Reviews, quarterly business reviews, the Annual Operating Plan and strategic Operating planning.
  • Build an impactful team through recruiting, coaching and leadership development. Ensure timely recognition and reward for top performers and deploy performance management actions when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 5-10 years of proven experience and track record in a commercial sales or marketing management role, preferably within the mobile apps industry.
  • University degree or equivalent tertiary level industry qualification.
  • Proven understanding of financial and business operations with confirmed ability to drive margin expansion and operational improvements.
  • Ability to develop creative growth strategies and guide successful execution.
  • Relevant experience in leading business functions with minimum of 5 years of P&L general management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and lead employees to achieve performance objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a multi divisional matrix organization to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Highly resilient and results oriented.
