Regional Contract Logistics Customer Retention Manager

Job Description
To optimize supply chain operations, our contract logistics business unit provides end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions for our customers. This position will steer customer retention for the region. If you possess hands on experience with customer focused activities and pride yourself in your dedication to customer excellence this might just be the role for you.
YOUR ROLE
You will drive customer centricity across the region’s contract logistics organisation by leveraging both new and existing best practices. Delivering industry leading performance in customer service and satisfaction will be key, along with leadership via a matrix organisation to the various countries.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To own and manage all activities relating to customer retention for the region; reporting, action planning, training and follow-up activities.
- To take the lead in people development, reviewing the need for specialist dedication at a country level, supporting the recruitment and training where required while ensuring diversity is in place.
- To take the lead in customer development, where required, being personally responsible for selected customer regional account management to ensure profitability, longevity of contract and growth.
- To lead the customer engagement program for the region, including deployment, training, knowledge sharing and identifying opportunities for innovation.
- To execute voice of the customer activities at a regional level.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Ideally, you should have significant leadership experience in a customer facing role within in a contract logistics environment, are able to build strong networks while creating and implementing strong business retention plans. Besides an uncanny business acumen, you are also able to effortlessly engage all stakeholders to drive win-win situations. Key account management experience is highly desired.GOOD REASONS TO JOIN
