Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

This is a 2 years contract role

1) To establish and execute regional strategy for Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) in line with HQ's global Corporate Citizenship (CC) strategy

• Plan and execute regional strategy workshops

• Develop a yearly regional CC Strategy plan

• Plan and execute regional CC program

2) To execute regional CC Communications/Marketing

• Develop a regional narrative

• Plan and execute regional CC communications

• Guide SEAO subsidiaries (subs) on local, SEAO and global comms

• Develop and publish the regional CC newsletter

• Active participation in events in the region as required to raise awareness about our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and activities (eg. external speaking slots, internal workshops)

• Support subs in awards participation

3) Strengthen the capabilities and manage the performance of CC managers/PICs in SEAO:

• Set and manage monthly calls with all subs

• Review local plans and guide subs on the execution of global CSR programs

• Identify and recommend best practices in the region

• Train new CC managers

4) Support PR efforts, such as in the execution of external and internal communications, and strategy development:

• Develop internal newsletters, reports, as well as executive memos and presentation materials

• Create PR content for Samsungs owned platforms, such as the Newsroom

• Work with subsidiary PR teams to identify opportunities and gaps, and implement action plans to improve processes

• Provide guidance to the local teams to build corporate brand stories to improve brand equity across the region

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CSR, Communications, Corporate Marketing, or a related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong planning and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiations, and interpersonal skills
