Job Description


Exciting opportunity with a fast-growing consumer brand, seeking for its first HR Manager to support them on the expansion plan you will be responsible for delivering an integrated, comprehensive, and focused HR partnering to the business in the regional hub in Singapore. You will be looking after the full spectrum of HR functions including planning, evaluating, and implementing all human resources policies, programs, and practices, as well as managing employee relations matters. Driving the end-to-end and enhancing employee experience through the talent acquisition process, Performance, and Talent development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the business providing counsel and support to line management in the development and implementation of key HR initiatives
  • Work with the line management and HR leadership team to understand the strategic direction of the business function and to evaluate the HR implications
  • Contribute to the development of a people plan for the business to support the achievement of the HR strategy. Design, development, and implementation of the organization structure to meet current and future business needs
  • Employee and Manager education on total reward, job banding, and talent development program
  • Manage and participate in the annual budgeting and planning exercise
  • Develop and/or maintain a comprehensive set of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that will support the achievement of the business strategy and plans
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and alignment to broader PR Group policies Performance, Talent Management & Development
  • Work with the leadership team to identify talent and succession pools within the business
  • Develop staffing plans and coordinate the full recruitment process (hiring to onboarding), as well all monitor and report on recruitment status
  • Ensure job banding evaluation and review with the manager and regional HR team for approval
  • Ensure the preparation of an annual training plan, and budget through training gap analysis, and identify adequate resources including people and programs to carry out the plans
  • Manage the annual performance review process, bonus and merit increase exercise to ensure that the company is externally competitive and internally equitable
  • Oversee HR operational activities such as monthly payroll, annual tax filing returns, exits & separation matters, and annual surveys submission (Mercer/Government related surveys)
Requirement:
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
