Mission As our Operations Manager you are an exceptional member of the team who will support and manage the launch of a new country on behalf of a client. As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include but not limited to: Launch Phase

  • Building teams and substreams within Operations in a new country, from the ground up
  • Establish internal policies aligned with market-specific external policies, standards, processes and processes
  • Optimize contract, performance, relationship and risk management processes
  • Ensure there are clear metrics across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strong performance management.
  • Ensure close alignment and coordination of local team with organizational goals and targets
  • Ensuring contracts are executed after appropriate due diligence; are performed with regular and appropriate ongoing monitoring and that all activities during the vendor lifecycle are managed accurately, consistently and professionally.
Post Launch
  • Work closely with the in-country team to manage the operational team
  • Regularly track KPIs to ensure standards are being met and aligned with the company OKRs. If KPIs are not within expectation, work with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with relevant business teams to implement and ideate
  • Foster a good working relationship with the leaders of the organization and promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals (company OKRs) and deliverables

Requirements and qualifications:
  • 5+ years solid management experience in Operations and 3PL/ Logistics/ Delivery and Warehousing management with focus on top industries (telco, tech, e-commerce)
  • Has a good understanding of start-up culture
  • Agile and competent in adapting to changes quickly
  • Has an excellent understanding of vendor, performance, and customer service KPIs
  • Has excellent decision-making and negotiation skills, able to provide reasonable justifications on what needs to be done.
  • Has excellent planning, strategy, and execution skills needed to manage projects and daily operations.
  • Has prior end to end experience on setting up teams.
  • Highly adept on process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written with ability to effectively communicate and partner with multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to speak/ read/ write in Urdu preferred, but not required
