Job Description

:

Through strong partnership with internal and external partners, this Regional Payroll Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality time & pay services for operations across Asia.

Simply - this role will ensure the timely and accurate taxation and distribution of total rewards (including salary and benefits) for employees.

Payroll

• Work closely with outsource vendor to ensure timely processing, reporting and fulfilment of salary payment, tax and social security obligations.
• Manages the work attendance monitoring system (absence & sickness, overtime, vacations, etc.) and related salary calculations
• Manages the contacts with the local authorities on social contributions, pension plan, health care insurance, taxes, etc.
• Ensures proper payroll management and timely HR Administration in compliance with local labour law, regulations and individual labour agreement
• Ensures payment of salaries, social contributions, pension plan, health care insurance, taxes, etc.
• Manages the activities for internal and external audits
• Collaborates with Finance Department to ensure proper accounting of payroll costs

Expatriate Management

• Supports the short- and long-term expatriation processes with the Compensation and Benefits Manager
• Supports the net to gross computation of employee expat package
• Collaborates with external tax vendor on the tax filing
• Ensures the relevant compensation, legal, labour and tax compliance
• Respond to expats and relevant stakeholders on expatriate matters

Compensation Administration

• Assists and collaborates, as appropriate, in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review program for regular staff employees.
• Support in the participation in third party or custom salary surveys to identify and track the relevant labor market movements.

Management Outsourcing Services

• Manages relationship with payroll outsource vendor in order to maximise service level
• Manages relationships with external authorities (social security organisations, Work Councils, Labour offices, etc.) to properly manage payroll related issues
