Job Description



This is a commissioned Regional Sales position covering the APJ Consumer Client business with one of Intel's leading OEM accounts.

As the Regional Consumer Client Sales Development Manager (SDM) for APJ, responsibilities include driving outbound sales engagements, consumption and sell through activities across the OEM's Consumer Client and engaging with Intel fellow travelers on driving growth in subsegments - such as gaming, premium thin and light and EVO.

A strong knowledge of the regional PC ecosystem, market dynamics, competitive challenges and demand drivers will be a definite plus for this role.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Driving Consumption volume growth for the Consumer Client business
  • Developing new and creative sales and marketing programs and strategies to drive accelerated growth
  • Coordination with business operations to accurately track business and evaluate ROI on investments
  • Work closely with Intel Country Sales Teams and Intel BU Sales organizations to drive cooperative selling preferences and engagements with the OEM customer
  • Collaborate with cross-geo teams to support and scale sales engagement programs globally
  • Drive regular business and strategy interlock sessions with OEM customer leadership
  • Competition analytics, roadmap advantage articulation, identification of growth segments and regions, influencing the allocation of investments and resources
  • Gain strong understanding of Intel Client roadmap, new technologies and offerings

A successful candidate would require:
  • Ability to separate tactical and strategic goals, but drive both concurrently
  • Strong executive presence, an ability to build and develop relationships with the Customer and Intel leaders across the region
  • Being highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starting and a quick-learner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence key stakeholders at multiple levels on product and GTM strategies
  • Capable of working across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast paced, dynamic and broad operating environment

Qualifications

  • Track record of driving successful sales results ideally managing large strategic customers
  • 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years of sales and marketing being preferred
  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, MBA, or related disciplines would be a plus
  • 3 years of previous experience in the PC/Client ecosystem
  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently when permitted as per local Covid guidelines

Work Model for this Role


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
