An exciting Regional Sales Manager for Asia Pacific role has just become available at one of the most respected and reputable international companies. This company is an industrial products manufacturer. They are well known worldwide for their quality of products largely within the valves space, the firm is currently expanding their operations in APAC. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this is a role for someone who is a strong salesperson with business development experience as well as exposure in valves or related products industry.

About the Regional Sales Manager (APAC):

In this Regional Sales Manager position, you will be responsible for driving new sales as well as identifying growth opportunities in the market. The person would also be responsible for developing a distribution network and managing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop distribution network and channel partners across APAC region.
  • Managing existing set of accounts primarily in the valve portfolio primarily within APAC
  • Driving relationships with key decision makers across major accounts
  • Managing new partnerships in this region as well as reaching out to existing markets through distributors and industry events
  • Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling or prospecting for potential clients, new markets, and new partnerships.
  • Develop a high customer satisfaction score through effective communication and teamwork across product, engineering, and supply chain teams.
  • Managing all complex deals through pitching and keeping abreast of market trends and movements
  • Generate sales leads.
To succeed in the Regional Sales Manager role, you will need to have a good understanding of valve products and its relevant industry.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or business
  • At least 6 years\' sales/business development experience, preferably from within the same industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent worker who is self-motivated and has a strong commercial sense.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of valve or pump product and it\'s industry/market
