An exciting Regional Supply Chain Manager job has just become available at one of the leading retail companies. You are responsible for overseeing and managing the company\'s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximise process efficiency and productivity.

About the Regional Supply Chain Manager Role:
You will lead all supply chain activities and manage teams. As the Regional Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee work on improving inventory, logistics, and all operations-related to maximise process efficiency and productivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform the supply chain division into a world-class professionally managed function
  • Develop, recommend, and execute supply strategies, policies, and plans to deliver sustained competitive advantage
  • Develop and lead a strong, capable, motivated, and high-performing SCM team, aligning to the culture of Live Mas
  • Implement rigorous analysis and strategic thought on key items, viz. food, packaging, and indirect spending including core equipment, small wares, etc.
  • Design a structured process for ongoing supply chain risk management, supply continuity, cost reductions, quicker product development cycle times, improved quality and service, and achievement of sustainability goals
  • Continually identify and implement ongoing improvement initiatives within the department
  • Provide effective management information and reporting on price levels and adjustments to prices of goods and services for the development of the annual budget, operating plan, and strategic plan
  • Continually investigate and recommend new and comparable materials, techniques, etc., that may increase profitability, productivity, and effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with partners, and align with the supply chain
  • Assume accountability for maximising proficiency and minimising costs
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships with key suppliers
  • Select key suppliers and regularly review supplier performance
  • Investigate alternative sources and methods of supply, and the capacity of the current and alternative suppliers to provide the required quality, price, and support in the procurement of goods and services
  • Coordinate with other functions to ensure supply chain strategies and plans are aligned to meet the company\'s overall business priorities
  • Liaise with the global team and other business units for updates and reporting
  • Lead the team to undertake game-changing initiatives
  • Coach the team to achieve personal development
To perform well as Regional Supply Chain Manager, you will need to be able to coach and motivate staff. In addition, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills along with a high level of management skills, and be committed to achieving efficient and safe operation in line with the company\'s high level of technical standards.

Key Requirements:
  • Degree in any field and related supply chain management, shipping, warehousing, and inventory skills
  • 10 years\' work experience in a related field is required for this position
  • Excellent strategic thinking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep into details with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally, and manage the expectations
  • Highly credible leader with the ability to influence outcomes on key initiatives
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond quickly and to maintain supply for multi-outlet store system subject to substantial trade fluctuations (business and cultural)
