Main Responsibilities: The Region Talent Management Manager will become a key part of LDC's Center of Expertise Talent Management & Learning. The role will be responsible for designing and maintaining an effective strategy, framework and set of tools for talent management in the region, and for providing expert support to HR colleagues and internal customers around the world. Plan and manage independently the development and implementation of talent related processes and programs (e.g., talent reviews, succession planning, training). Contribute to or lead new projects in areas of expertise and in adjacent areas Partner closely with HRBPs in the countries, global CoE and regional heads to develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for talent retention, training and development, promotion and succession planning. Develop an effective partnership with talent Acquisition to ensure a comprehensive approach to responding to talent gaps. Serve as a direct business partner to senior leaders where relevant Analyze talent data on an on-going basis and provide insights to drive deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels, including the creation and maintenance of reliable, diverse talent pools Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity and promote diversity and inclusion across the organization directly contribute to the company's diversity and inclusion roadmap implementation by managing all talent-related D&I workstreams and measuring progress Lead Talent Management and Development activities and framework at region level to meet the organization's business needs Lead the roll out of new initiatives and monitor existing processes/programs in area of expertise Contribute to the HR's Talent development strategy and to the production and dissemination of the knowledge base and training materials related to talent management and D&I. Support and enhance HR's capabilities in these areas Provides deep content expertise, overall guidance and direction to other HR professionals and internal customers in the Talent management, Talent Development and D&I areas. As an expert, conduct assessments and make decisions and recommendations that may set precedents Experience: Expected to have at least 10 years of Talent management and development experience with established experience managing HR projects at regional level Experience developing and supporting organization-wide processes and programs in talent management and succession planning experience managing related change processes and relationships with senior internal stakeholders Influencing skills and self-confidence: capacity to manage internal customers independently capacity to sell and push through resistance Experience advising HR and internal clients including senior management on career management and talent development strategies Experience with developing and enabling D&I related projects, ideally on a multi-regional scale Demonstrated experience leading assignments or projects involving cross functional and cross-country collaboration excellent collaboration, partnering and influencing skills, including with senior leaders and executives Ideally experienced in drafting corporate policies, guidelines or communications excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into digestible content Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing talent reports and analysis ability to infer talent decisions and programs from a data set and personal observations Other Skills and Competencies: Broad and deep knowledge base of talent management and development theories and approaches knowledge of the D&I area awareness of related fields such as leadership development Solid analytical skills and ability to connect data/information of various natures and channels Solid business acumen and curiosity/appetite for learning a new industry Cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple cultures Experience with and ability to successfully manage competing deadlines flexibility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities Results orientation, motivation to experiment and deliver Windows Office fluent, especially with Power Point and Excel experience with functional administration of an HR system a plus Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or HR or other related field
