Job Description
The Dementia Research Centre (Singapore) [DRCS], an establishment of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) was set up to pioneer cutting-edge research initiatives, to enhance understanding of cognitive impairment and dementia spectrum disorders, clinically. DRCS is a multi-study research centre focusing on the pathobiology of Asian Dementia and models of care for cognitive disorders. DRCS is helmed by Associate Professor Nagaendran Kandiah, an internationally renowned clinician scientist in the field of dementia.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Research Associate with a strong research background to contribute to our cutting-edge research initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of dementia studies
- Investigate blood biomarkers, focusing on their implications in dementia
- Perform phlebotomy procedures for research purposes
- Write and contribute to high-impact research papers for publication
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of research goals
- Perform additional research responsibilities as required
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Cognitive Science, Biochemistry, or related fields
- Strong interest and expertise in blood biomarkers and phlebotomy techniques
- Demonstrated capability in producing high-impact research papers
- Passion for dementia research and a commitment to making substantive contributions in the field
