We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for medical research to assist in the execution of microfluidic experiments for the study of blood plasma rheology. We will apply this to monitor the effects of plasma elasticity on the hemodynamics of blood cells through the microcirculation and various organs.
The candidate will work with a postdoctoral scholar to design and test the microfluidic platform, assist with sample collection, and perform image analysis of microscope-derived video clips.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience and expertise in microfabrication
- Prior knowledge in wet lab techniques will be an advantage.
- Open to fixed term contract
