What the role is
You will be part of team responsible for supporting the IT system and maintenance, system administration, server administration, co-ordination and implementation of ICT projects and initiatives and conducting briefing/training and support to end-users. You will be the point of contact with the Information Systems Group to coordinate and disseminate any system upgrades, patches and operational procedures regarding system development and security
What you will be working on
You will be required to work with stakeholders to explore solutions, make recommendations and develop specifications for systems to better streamline the overall processes. You will be involved in the integration of solutions with other business systems and applications. You will also provide end user application support to users in trouble shooting, data storage management and system enhancement. You are expected to take a corporate, strategic perspective, whilst understanding the varied business needs and challenges including cyber security risk management, when administering the systems. You are expected to build up a thorough understanding of the business operations and have technical understanding of the systems architecture, in order to collaborate effectively with the stakeholders, including the development team. You will need to understand the IT and data management policies/guidelines to ensure compliance to these policies and guidelines. You will also be required to generate computer reports for policy review and analysis including taking on coordination work on IT-related matters.
What we are looking for
You should possess a relevant background in Information Systems, and preferably with knowledge in programming skills and at least 2 years of relevant working experience in IT related Project Management. A degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore would be an added advantage.
