Job Description
Our client is one of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in iconic and commercial building projects. They are seeking for a Safety Manager for a potential new project.:
- Advise management on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) legal requirements and keep them informed of any changes.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and the WSH (Construction) Regulations.
- Assess the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety performance and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety resources and provide recommendations to management to meet EHS requirements.
- Coordinate with senior management and project teams to conduct monthly safety site walks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project/Site Manager.
- Accredited as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Hold a Diploma in Engineering or Environmental Health and Safety.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead WSHOs and provide supervision, guidance, and instructions to all safety personnel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government regulations related to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental fields.
- Proficient in OSH/ISO documentation.
