About the Role We are now looking at stabilising our sales operations and automating key processes, workflows, and systems, which will help us grow further and scale our business across our group of companies. To this extent, we are seeking a sales operations analyst with effective organizational, time and self-management skills to fulfil deliverables with minimal guidance or supervision. The bulk of this role revolves around optimizing sales efficiency by refining processes and workflows and making systematic enhancements across our group of companies. That means resolving operational inconsistencies and bottlenecks that are slowing down sales cycles. Finding solutions to these issues can be challenging, often requiring innovative thinking and careful consideration before outlining a plan. There are always reports that someone needs built, workflows that need to be updated, or forensic analysis or data discovery that needs to be done. Most of those tasks fall on sales ops analysts. Depending on who you ask (and what platform they use), using business intelligence software is the most exciting part of the job. BI tools make it easy to create reports and dashboards to glean actionable insights that can be shared with our management, sales force, and clients. Analysts are typically responsible for digging in deeper to tell the story behind the numbers and find out what’s really going on. They are also responsible for pushing the envelope and take organizations proactively to the next level. Sales ops analysts often provide the data that guides conversations regarding major business decisions and help management pick one strategy over another when it comes down to it.
