About Val-Technik: Val-Technik is a Singapore based company that was started in 1988. The company focuses on providing high quality valves, metering and piping solutions to fulfil various applications across many markets or sectors. Some of them are commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, marine and offshore and water and waste water treatment.Our manufacturing partners are mainly from Europe and USA but specifically, Val-Technik focuses on delivering engineering solutions rather than just supplying the products.: Due to Val-Technik's plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for a responsible and committed Sales Coordinator in you.You will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for coordinating information (as in enquiries, questions or issues) between the customers and the relevant internal stake holders and also for coordinating information (as in pricing and product availability) between the company and suppliers/partners. Your role's main focus is to maintain the effectiveness of our communications to ensure that the sales of the company is maintained by responding in a timely and accurate manner to customers and suppliers alike. Your first task is to familiarize yourself with and achieve a complete grasp of the primary business process in order to perform your duties and also to be ready to support any function of the primary business process in the event you are needed. In addition, you will perform any secondary functions that the Business Administration Executive might assign you to. You are part of the Operations Team and will report to the Business Administration Executive and from time to time the Managing Director for sales related affairs.What will you do? You will attend to the day-to-day customer enquiries, questions, and issues in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the annual sales of the company is at least maintained. You will also coordinate and execute procurement of products and materials from supplier(s). You shall support any function of the primary business process when needed. You will provide support for any task(s) that the Business Administration Executive assigns to you. You are to support the Business Development and Sales Team whenever they need you. You will also conduct sourcing when customers are requesting for products that we do not normally stock. You will provide and manage a list of existing contacts of companies and associated products for all existing sourcing activities and new ones. Effectively communicate all information that you have obtained or created to your direct report and the management.What should I bring? A recognised relevant academic ITE Nitec, ITE Higher Nitec and diploma in engineering or business. You are looking for a stable and progressive career. Proactiveness and willingness to learn. Systematic, and ability to multi-task and stay focused. Drive with enthusiasm to succeed in task(s). Responsibility and dedication when performing task(s) assigned to you. Good communication skills and ability to foster good personal relations. Exhibit a "team player" mentality and is able to prioritise tasks and think strategically. Fluent in English; other languages are assets.
