The RoleThis role will serve as the B2B Sales Director for Chab Events and will be responsible for supporting the roll-out of the B2B sales strategy for our portfolio of corporate clients. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to be involved across operations, branding, video production and event management.Main missions and dutiesIn order to achieve success in your role as Sales Director (Luxury & Mice) we have designed the following plan.Month 1: Assessment & RecommendationsDuring this month your primary task will be to evaluate the current situation of our sales function and strategy.Assess Get to know the current sales team - their strengths and weaknesses, and build a relationship with them Understand the challenges currently being facedAction Understand the events industry - from a client and competitor stand point Identify key market players to approach from a business development perspective Attend events produced by our team Begin to develop the B2B Sales Strategy targeting the Luxury and MICE IndustryRecommend Once you have an understanding of our current sales function, build a situation report along with recommendations and action points on what needs to be done next in order to optimise the sales effortMonth 1 is to invest time at the outset and ensure that a platform is laid for future success in this roleMonth 2 onwards: Implementation Build a mentorship program for the current sales team based on your learning from month 1 Put into action the management approved B2B sales strategy Build and develop relationships with the existing portfolio of corporate clients in the MICE, luxury automotive, aerospace, insurance, oil & gas, government industries Work closely with the production team to craft creative event, video and experiential marketing proposals to win new opportunities and begin to build a book of business Draft (along with management) your role as a Sales Director to achieve long term success for the sales teamRequirements 10 to 12 years of Marketing and/or Sales experience Leadership / mentorship experience of at least 4 years Strong oral and written communication skills Able to work on CRM systems (such as Hubspot or equivalent)The CompanyWho we areWe are in the business of ideas.
