Job Description



The Sales Director \xe2\x80\x93 Nepal & Bhutan report to the Chief Commercial Officer and is responsible for owning and developing all sales activities, business development, relationship management, sales proposals/forecasting, and market and competitor analysis to represent and position Kacific as a provider of satellite-based internet connectivity services in Nepal & Bhutan. Specifically, the role is to focus on sales propositions focusing on satellite-based internet connectivity services to wholesale buyers in Nepal & Bhutan, including Telecoms, ISPs, Government, and other agencies, bodies, or organizations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Owning and managing the development and execution of end-to-end sales process, including sales pipeline and forecasting across Nepal & Bhutan
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to target wholesale buyers, including Telecoms, ISPs, Government, and other agencies, bodies, or organizations
  • Establish a customer base in Nepal & Bhutan for both the wholesale and franchise retail offers of Kacific
  • Seeking sales opportunities within existing customers to grow or upsell new products or services
  • Understanding of key cultural, political, and regional issues that can impact the sales process
  • Maintaining contact and relationships with existing customers regularly
  • Developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with prospective customers
  • Maintaining contact and relationships with government bodies, agencies, and regulators
  • Keeping up to date on all regulatory requirements, licenses, etc.
  • Required to deliver services to targeted clients/industries


REQUIREMENTS


  • Excellent knowledge of the Satellite/Telecommunications/Broadband industry
  • Extensive full-cycle sales experience (minimum of 10+ years) selling to Telecoms, ISPs, Government, and other agencies, bodies, or organizations, including leading and managing complex tender processes/proposals in Nepal & Bhutan
  • Comprehensive understanding, expertise, and solid track record developing and closing large sales (over USD1M to USD100M)
  • Willingness and ability to commit to significant travel within Nepal & Bhutan
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to create new relationships and opportunities with potential clients
  • Degree qualified, preferably in Business or Engineering discipline
