We are working with one of the world\'s leading beauty company and they are looking for a Sales Finance Manager to be part of their solid Finance team.

About the role

As the Sales Finance Manager, you will assume a crucial role as a primary collaborator with the commercial and leadership teams, offering financial insights in various aspects of sales and customer-related processes to achieve our business goals. Reporting to the CFO of the business unit, you will take charge of financial analysis, plan formulation, and execution aligned with our business objectives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer insights and interpret commercial data from various sources, including financial, in-market sales, and distribution data.
  • Provide precise forecasts and manage trade investment budgets for existing customers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance trade activities and improve return on trade investments in each market.
  • Take the lead on optimizing the Earnings Model in relevant markets through cost-to-serve analysis to establish a short to medium term profitability roadmap aligned with the business vision.
  • Promote a sustainable cash culture by delivering accurate forecasts and tailoring customer-specific plans to reduce overdue balances and minimize the risk of bad debt, while working closely with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams.
  • Empower and motivate the frontline team to exceed profit-driven top-line growth by offering insights into customer-level performance and maximizing incentive programs through HR collaboration.
  • Demonstrate a Stewardship mindset by ensuring accurate, SOX-compliant, and timely period closing processes for both the Profit and Loss statement and the Balance Sheet.
  • Develop financial capabilities internally to enhance the organization\'s financial expertise and externally to enable distributors to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Support budget management requirements, including CAPEX, marketing budgets, and customer financing.
  • Lead project-based analyses, including changes in the Go-to-market structure, distributor transitions, and evaluations of new customers.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be commercially driven and agility in working in a dynamic, cross-collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree with an accounting qualification as an advantage.
  • Min. 7-8 years of working experience in analysis, finance, accounting, operations management, sales, audit, etc.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial and accounting principles and using financial systems/business tools for data analysis and translating financial data into a commercial context.
  • Strong analysis and business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with a demonstrated capacity for holistic and strategic thinking
  • Good Excel skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP
