Our client is a growing SME in the electronics distributor industry. It is established in 2013. The HQ is in Singapore with affiliated companies in HK, Malaysia, and Thailand. The company provides one-stop services for High Mix/Low volume electronic products and serve as a one-stop solution provider of electronics components/ products to fulfil procurement needs which will positively impact customer bottom line and reduce risks (and offer assurance of supply) to its customers. The co is seeking for a reliable, self-motivated, and committed sales manager individual to join its dynamic team.

Job Summary: The successful incumbent will achieve sales objectives within the assigned industry/accounts. You will develop and implement market penetration strategies to maximize business opportunities. Key responsibilities will entail pursuing of sales leads, promoting company products and concluding orders.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets of company products and services within assigned industry and accounts
  • Promote and sell company’s products and provide specialized information as per required
  • Managing key accounts ie. OEM and EMS
  • Make regular sales calls and visit on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts
  • Submit Weekly Sales Report to General Manager
  • Organize and conduct effective presentations to customers.
  • Locate and develop specific sales opportunities and plan specific sales approaches
  • Work closely with customers in the development of specifications to meet their needs
  • The scope of responsibilities may be altered from time to time and as required by the company
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Electronics but this is not a must
  • Has minimum 6-15 years of sales experience gained with Electronics manufacturers, or Electronics Component Distributors or Contract Manufacturers (EMS) or Independent Distributors
  • Has strong customer networks in the above stated sector
  • Results oriented and customer focused with a strong track record of achieving sales targets in the industry.
  • Open to travelling to Malaysia or Thailand
  • Dynamic, Committed, Self-Motivated, energetic and Self-disciplined
  • Final salary package will be commensurate with successful candidate’s qualifications and experiences. The co offers WFH arrangement and attractive a sales commission scheme. For a successful cand, the person will be groomed to be the head of sales in future.
