Leverage a deep understanding of industry and regulatory requirements to effectively meet customer needs and navigate complex sales processes
Maintain a strong network within relevant industries such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, environmental services, hazardous waste management, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and food
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure profitable business contracts
Demonstrate a track record of success in selling industrial machinery or equipment, preferably nanofiltration and filtration systems. Must have experience managing multi-million dollar accounts and a proven record of growing revenue streams
Use familiarity with CRM tools to manage and optimize the sales process, and develop a robust sales system from the ground up, harnessing technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Implement and manage a sales qualification framework that streamlines the sales process, optimizes conversion rates, and drives revenue growth
Ensure the sales team adheres to sales qualification framework, and regularly review and refine it as necessary to meet evolving market conditions and business needs
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients in targeted industries
Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, manage accounts, and provide regular sales forecasts to senior management
Manage individual sales territories and provide forecasting and pipeline feedback to commercial and operational functional leaders through the Integrated Business Planning process
Develop and maintain competitive price intelligence to support strategic market pricing decisions
Exhibit a highly focused and ambitious attitude with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within assigned responsibility
Build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team
Provide the leadership, support, and tools necessary for the team to achieve ambitious sales targets
Job Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree would be an advantage
Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling industrial machinery or equipment, preferably nanofiltration and filtration systems
Deep understanding of the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, environmental services, hazardous waste management, petrochemical, oil and gas, and food industries, with knowledge of the relevant industry and regulatory requirements
Strong existing network within relevant industries, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
Strong selling and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Experience with CRM tools and the development of sales systems
Demonstrable history of managing significant accounts and expanding revenue streams
Demonstrated ability to build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Strong leadership and motivational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with both internal team members and external clients
Ability to forecast sales and interpret sales data. Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to develop competitive price intelligence
Highly focused and ambitious, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Proven ability to manage significant accounts and expand revenue streams
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
