Sales Support Specialist

  • 12 months contract, with an option to extend

The Opportunity

Applies direct support to support business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives for the APAC Sales Teams. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues
  • The primary role of this position is to provide quality service and support to the APAC Team
  • Work as the primary point of contact for the APAC Acceleration/Alliances/Category team
  • Assist the team with presentations for programs and promotions
  • Respond to sales escalations, perform administrative fixes using tooling, perform reporting/monitoring, and consult on improvements to the overall sales operations
  • Minimize friction within the sales process by providing guidance around complex scenarios that sales teams encounter during a deal cycle
  • Engage with internal sales teams and channel partners/distributors to resolve queries and open issues related to the ordering processes.
Your Background
  • First level University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 1-2 years of experience in tech industry
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of project management methodology.
  • Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Introduction to overall supply chain strategy.
  • Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ATP.
  • Basic understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory analysis.
