School of Applied Science - Business Development Manager (Agriculture Technology)
[What you will be working on]
Engage industries and corporates on research and training needs, and propose amalgamated solutions addressing these needs
Manage internal, governmental and corporate stakeholder relations
Gather market intelligence on research demand, funding frameworks and emerging AgriTech trends
Engage relevant stakeholders for partnerships, translation of research outcomes, IP translation and licensing opportunities
Provide administrative support for consultancy and research projects.
Take lead in preparing costing and service proposal for projects, seeking internal approvals and liaising with companies
Manage agreements, contracts from stakeholders to ensure governance
Plan and execute outreach activities and events to solicit a pipeline of projects, including screening and assessing for capability matching, potential for student engagements etc
Handle any other administrative and operational duties as assigned
[What we are looking for]
Relevant qualifications business administration, management, lifescience or agribusiness
Prior experience in executive search, AgriTech related agencies or corporates, farm management and/or agribusiness is preferred
Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and business development skills
Must be IT-proficient in MS Office, and familiar in operating web and digital marketing platforms. Good to have Robotic Process Automation (RPA) skills.
