We are introducing an exciting new seafood business to Metro Manila. We're looking for a seafood manager to oversee our operations in Manila. We're looking for an expert in the seafood business, who understands every piece of the business, from shipment, purchasing, product quality assurance, sales, and delivery.Responsibilities include:- Receiving all incoming seafood and ensure quality and freshness.- Coordinate the safe delivery of products to our warehouse in Manila.- Ensure that the products are delivered to customers on time and in excellent condition.- Oversee our fleet of delivery drivers to make sure everything arrives smoothly and handle any issues that may arise.- Seek out strategic partnerships with businesses and potential seafood industry players.- Actively find resellers across Metro Manila.- Regularly travel across Metro Manila, visiting existing and potential partners.- Identify areas to improve our processes and proactively grow the business.- Interview, hire, train, and oversee new team members.Experience:- A college degree is preferable- Operational and organizational excellence- 5 years of working experience in seafood or seafood related business- Excellent knowledge of seafood and ensuring seafood quality- Warehouse/Inventory management (particularly cold storage management)- Strong sales background.
