The role - Segment Lead leads all on-site activities of a project to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, maintenance phases. Sell solutions and service to customer with high volume at high profitability with excellent interper-sonal skills to actively seek out prospects. This role is based in Singapore. Your responsibilities

  • Market Strategy
    • Develop new market and opportunities in both product and service
    • Monitor competitor movement to formulate and implement appropriate strategies
    • Understanding and reach to out market for key segments including renewables and emobility.
    • Strategize and target for service growth.
  • Customer Relations
    • Understand customer needs and promote product/ service offerings accordingly
    • Establish new customer relationship
    • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationship
    • Ensure positive customer experience throughout sales process
  • Internal collaboration
    • Support project team
    • Communication with factory to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled
    • Work with segment leaders, cross BU personnel to build on mutual trust and collabora-tion.
  • Sales and Tendering Execution
    • Prepare sales proposal following the tools available.
    • Perform regular status review
    • Ensure successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals through solution presentations and negotiations
  • Additional extraordinary accountabilities:
    • Vendor management and exploration – finding and maintaining partners for execution of new and innovative solutions
Your background
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Degree or Diploma in Engineering
    • Minimum 2-5 years sales and engineering experience in electrical equipment with proven track record
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Able to work in team and good interpersonal skills
    • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
