The role and purpose: Insight. Intrigue. Inspire. The Senior Artwork role is for a confident and experienced, self-starter with great attention to detail, who can work as part of team and autonomously. Your will have good interpersonal skills and be a top multi-tasker who is confident under pressure. You will have the ability to manage your own time, as well as others ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget. Working closely with the Production Manager Creative Director and Design Team, you will ensure a smooth handover from Creative to Realisation. You should have experience in producing highly accurate print-ready artwork and high-resolution visuals as well as mock-ups for presentation purposes. You should also have a good eye for detail and excellent InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop Skills. Expereince building renders and other creative artwork / visualising skills are an advatage for this role. You will be a responsible, proactive and passionate artworker bringing knowledge, fresh ideas and challenges to the team.
Duties and responsibilities:
People and Team You will be part of a small close knit team, working collaboratively across a number of projects. Day to day leadership will come from the Senior Production Manager as well as the rest of the IK team who will support you in your role. You will build a strong partnership internally with the design and project team, working across all disciplines as an active team player. You will understand and deliver against your own role within the project schedule, actively participating to achieve the objectives.
Artwork Responsibilities
Checking of artwork files and ensuring all relevant parties have approved the work prior to despatch
Liaising and managing external suppliers and resource, when required
Alongside the Creative Director, approving any visualising or retouching for print production purposes
Suggesting best practice and relevant print/material specifications for artwork
Attending Print pre-press trials & client meetings on behalf of Innovation Kitchen, when required
Supporting account managers and creative team with commitment to best-in-class project and production management for assigned projects
Partner with internal team members to ensure schedules and budgets are met. Proactively and quickly escalates challenges or hurdles to that success
