The Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Company Secretary, APAC, the candidate will be supporting the Corporate Secretarial functions of incorporated entities established by M&G and its funds in various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
Assist the Company Secretary to oversee and monitor the Corporate Secretarial activities of Fund Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). In the case of Luxembourg domiciled funds, work closely with the Luxembourg team to ensure consistent processes throughout the fund\xe2\x80\x99s structure, as advised by Luxembourg.
File necessary returns and forms with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority within the specified timeline.
Event Based Compliance:
Change of the registered office of the company
Appointing a new director or resignation of outgoing director
Amendment to the Constitution of the Company
Change of Company Name
Charge creation
Increase or decrease of share capital
Ensure compliance with all applicable provisions of Companies Act in Singapore by establishing proper processes and controls to comply with these provisions, and updating the processes and controls on at least an annual basis to ensure that they are up-to-date and effective.
Supporting the smooth running of the board / audit committee / other committee / general meetings (preparation and drafting of meeting agendas, regular report, co-ordination of papers, meeting logistics and recording of minutes), maintaining statutory registers, drafting circular resolutions and liaising with directors.
Good inter-personal skills, working closely with various business owners within M&G, affiliates in London and Luxembourg, and internal / external Company Secretarial to ensure that statutory filings / reporting to Registrar of Companies are done on time and properly in the relevant jurisdictions.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G\xe2\x80\x99s operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Familiarity and experience with the relevant legislations and regulations in Singapore and the broader Asia region
Possesses minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience related to corporate secretarial function
Able to work independently; be conscientious, meticulous and organised
Be a team player with ability to work with colleagues from different functions and business units, and in a culturally diverse environment
Diploma/Degree holder/Possess or pursuing ICSA qualification
