Job Description

An instrumental role in articulating the functional needs and translating into IT solutions that will support the overall University goals, the incumbent will work closely with the various departments within the University to analyse and define user requirements, recommend and evaluate appropriate end-to-end IT solutions; support projects and change implementation; as well as maintaining and supporting of the systems implemented.Responsibilities:Requirements Analysis and DocumentationMeet with stakeholders to identify and create clear and concise documentation of business requirements for a given project.Analyze and validate requirements to ensure they are feasible and meet the needs of the business.Systems DesignDevelop detailed system design documents, including data flow diagrams, process flows, and technical specifications.Ensure that the system design is feasible and can be implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.Systems DevelopmentEnsure that the system is developed according to specifications and requirements.Training and SupportDevelop training materials and provide training to end-users on how to use the systemProvide ongoing support to end-users to ensure they are able to use the system effectivelyCommunication and Stakeholder ManagementCommunicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are informed of project progress and any issues that ariseContinuous ImprovementContinuously monitor and evaluate the system to identify areas for improvement.Requirements:A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in IT, with a minimum of years of experience in systems analysis and design.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues.Ability to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications to meet business requirements.Proficiency in programming and scripting languages.Experience in low code programming, specifically in developing and maintaining applications using low code platforms.Good technical experience with databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle), web development, and user support.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.Customer service orientation and a commitment to quality.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
