Job Brief

We are looking for a Senior Customer Solutions Specialist to be accountable for developing customer solutions and technical configurations in partnership with the Sales team to sell NaviX Solutions Secure Power and Cooling Products ‘as-a-Service’ to customers seeking an alternative to a traditional capital expenditure model. The focus is to support the conversion of “Net New Logo” and upsell into existing customers. The scope of the role is to begin in Singapore with potential to expand into Asia Pacific.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering solution presentations, coordinating the developing customer technical solutions/configurations and managing the bid/tender process together with the Sales team in order to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion. In addition, candidate will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences.

What will you do?

  • Develop solutions and configurations, tailored to customer requirements in order to deliver an as-a-Service experience.
  • Understand the customer's requirements and constraints and support the Sales force with solution design.
  • Define with the customer the best implementation of the system platform, explain, and demonstrate the technical advantages of the architecture.
  • Support sales team in customer discovery meetings and presentations.
  • Managing bid/tender process together with Sales team, in terms of solutioning and pricing configuration.
  • Responsible for technical proposals, systems and risk management for submissions
  • Maintain Cost Worksheet, Pricing and Request for Quotation repository where applicable.
  • Be the primary liaison with Schneider Electric technical pre-sales teams for any deep technical related queries.
  • Capitalize on in-depth knowledge and understanding of ‘as-a-service’ (aaS) business model and application solutions to deliver business value.


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 8-10+ years’ experience in solution sales, with relevant knowledge in the mechanical/ Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation design and low voltage design for Uninterruptible Power Supply with customer orientation
  • Exposure to solutioning for ‘Infrastructure-as-a-Service’ (aaS) and/or Managed Services within the IT Infrastructure & Datacenter sector, exposure to usage/outcome-based consumption pricing models would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and exposure to Uninterruptible Power Supplies of up to 1MW designs, including the sizing of the batteries a to calculate the number of blocks required and in choosing the proper batteries to save space and increase profitability
  • Knowledge and exposure to ACMV design (specifically in air-cooled and water-cooled chilled water plant and/or Computer Room Airconditioning design and operation).
  • Must be able to multi-task and able to handle all stakeholders’ needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a start-up environment
  • Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently and successfully within small, unstructured teams, often in an ambiguous environment
  • Demonstratable experience across ASEAN and/or Asia Pacific.
  • Ability to work independently and with internal teams and partners
