We believe in the value of empowering our employees with the resources they need to succeed and for the future of our business, which is why we need you We are looking for someone with: Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4 year program) Schedule: Amenability to work on shifting schedules Location: Amenability to work at UP Technohub Commonwealth Quezon C HYBRID Work Arrangement – amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business needs AND/OR current external environment/situation). On the job you will: Responsible for managing the Long-Term Disability (LTD) perm block, ensuring offsets are in place and periodic follow-ups with claimants are conducted to ensure there is no change in physical and cognitive function. Nice to haves:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Ability to use the desktop computer system
  • Typing skills (at least 8000 KPH or 35 WPM)
  • Basic internet skills and knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Soft skills:
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Has keen attention to detail (critical)
  • Has excellent customer service skills and accountability for customer requests or issues
  • Strives for continuous improvement
  • Positively impacts team and inter-departmental relationships and works to resolve conflicts with tact and diplomacy
  • Has superb organization skills and ability to multi-task and can work under time pressures

Minimum Skills Requirements to Perform: Product-specific:
  • Good understanding and appreciation of the Group Benefits environment and its clients
Process-specific:
  • Knowledge of disability processes
  • Good understanding of Manulife’s privacy and confidentiality policies and guidelines
Tool-specific:
  • Excellent understanding of Navigator and other Citrix applications.
  • Ability to use Amazon connect or Avaya telephony system
