Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: -

• Reviewing customer design or develop design engineering for conformance with applicable codes, utilizing engineering standards along with good engineering practices.
• Generating single line diagrams, cross referencing, cable sizing and numbering.
• Preparing BOQ, Panel layout and terminal plans and site supervision (if required).
• Performing surveys to collect field data to do load calculations, UPS Sizing, Battery Calculation, Generator Sizing, develop drawings, layouts and installation and testing.
• Designing and selection of Low Tension (LT) Panels, High Tension (HT) Panels, Measuring Instruments (CT and PT), Circuit Breaker (ACB, MCCB, MCB), Draw out and draw in type MCC.
• Providing support to other departments during bidding, designing, execution and troubleshooting of projects.
• Performing entire range of engineering tasks in electrical and instrumentation by operating computer assisted design or engineering software in coordination with other engineering disciplines in the project.
• Preparing control schematic designs, control loop diagrams, termination drawings, hook-up diagrams, Network Architecture and FDS.
• Working with a team to design and build the Local Control Panels and PLC panels.
• Preparing Package instrument specifications and datasheets.
• Calibration of Field Instruments.
• Familiar with IEEE, IEC, IECEx, Atex, ISA standard (will be an added advantage).
• Performing any supporting tasks assigned by the management.
• Strong ability in working independently and comfortable with matrix reporting structure.
• Required to travel overseas and stay on-sites for project execution, installation, and commissioning.
• Comfortable to work with multi-national organisation and culture.
• Will be required to liaise and work directly with vendors for technical matters.
• Required to conduct QC, Inspection reports for incoming procured Electrical & Instrumentation items.
