Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Perform electrical engineering design for offshore oil & gas facilities such FPSOs, platforms etc.
Responsible for study, design, specifications and services related to MV (11kV)/LV(690/400v) Switchgear, MV VFDs, distribtuion system, etc.
Have detail design experiences on offshore MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) system/ancillaries including transformers, etc.
Have handled Electrical packages such as UPS, Distribution Boards or supported Mechanical packages reviewing engineering documents
Have Database engineering experience, developing load list, cable schedule, control schematic, etc.
Perform Technical Bid valuation for basic Electrical package
Utilise database engineering i.e. Smart Plant/AVEVA to produce Load List, Cable Schedule, etc.
Work independantly and also together with a team of specialised Electrical Engineers/Designers for the complete detail design

Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 6 years\' of relevant experience with electrical design involving offshore electrical power and distribution system
Have experience in utilizing database engineering i.e. Smart Plant/AVEVA
Good understanding of Electrical system design
Familiarity with global electrical codes, standards and regulations i.e. IEC/BSI, etc.
Knowledge of electrical system for assessment/compliance studies and reports
