Short Description

In this position the appointee will support and implement Institute for Adult Learning (IAL)\'s efforts to drive adoption of workplace learning through the various initiatives. The appointee will report to the Head of Centre for Workplace Learning & Performance with the following professional responsibilities.

• Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes for the processing of grant requests, consultancy proposals, courses, including management of a graduate certificate and other enterprise-related applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentations, plans and reports
• Handle enquiries regarding grants, courses, masterclasses, learning journeys and other enterprise-related matters
• Coordinate with and brief enterprises, adjuncts and industry practitioners in matters such as learning journeys, consultancies, courses, masterclasses and other relevant matters
• Provide administrative support on payment and claims matters, assist in contract and agreement preparations
• Plan and schedule meetings and appointments
• Prepare budget utilisation and expense reports
• Assist in project and asset management
• Support any other matters/projects that may require assistance from time to time

• A bachelor degree is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of MS Office suite, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Meticulous and able to work with tight deadlines.
• Observe a code of strictest confidentiality at all times
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• The successful appointee will be based in IAL Campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute at Paya Lebar.
